Turkey Bacon Egg & Cheese Bagel
Serves: 1 • Time: 10–15 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 everything bagel, sliced
- 2 organic eggs
- 2 slices turkey bacon
- 2 slices sharp cheddar cheese
- 1–2 tsp butter (for pan + bagel)
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Ketchup, optional
Instructions
- Crisp the turkey bacon
Heat a nonstick pan over medium. Cook turkey bacon until browned and crisp, about 3–4 minutes per side. Set aside. - Prep the eggs
Crack 2 organic eggs into a bowl and whisk until smooth. Season lightly with salt and pepper. - Cook the eggs
Melt a small pat of butter in a nonstick pan over low–medium heat. Pour in the eggs and scramble gently until they start to set. - Melt the cheese (your method)
Shape the eggs into a rough patty. Lay two slices of sharp cheddar on top. Flip the eggs with the cheese on top and heat for 10–15 seconds so the cheese begins to melt. Remove from pan. - Toast the bagel
Toast the everything bagel to your liking. Butter the insides lightly while warm. - Assemble
Add ketchup (optional) to the bottom half. Layer the crispy turkey bacon, then add the cheesy egg patty. Finish with the top bagel half.
Notes
Flipping the eggs with the cheese on top for 10–15 seconds gives you the perfect melt without overcooking. Keep the heat low for soft, fluffy eggs every time.
