Crispy Air Fryer Buffalo Wings
Crispy Air Fryer Buffalo Wings
That farmer’s market tip for restaurant-level crisp — tossed in buttery Buffalo heat for the ultimate wing night.
⏱️ Prep: 10 min
🔥 Cook: 25 min
🍗 Serves: 2–3
Ingredients
- 1 dozen fresh chicken wings
- 1–2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp Cajun seasoning (or to taste)
- 1 tsp aluminum-free baking powder
- ½ cup Louisiana hot sauce
- 2 tbsp butter
- ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
- 1 tsp honey (optional, for a mild finish)
Instructions
- Prep the wings: Pat dry thoroughly. Toss with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, and baking powder until evenly coated.
- Air fry: Preheat to 390°F. Arrange wings in a single layer and cook 22–25 minutes, flipping halfway through. Wings should reach 185–190°F internally for crispy skin.
- Make the sauce: In a small pan, melt butter with Louisiana hot sauce and garlic powder. For a milder flavor, add a teaspoon of honey.
- Toss & serve: Coat wings immediately after air frying. Serve hot with your favorite dip and celery sticks.
“The secret’s in the baking powder — it raises the skin’s pH and gives that signature restaurant crunch, even in an air fryer.”
